Adeline C Zeller

Adeline C. Zeller, 84, Bismarck, died May 20, 2012, at Medcenter One Hospital, Bismarck. Services will be at 10:30 am Thursday, May 24, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with Rev. Craig Schweitzer officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 23, at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Adeline was born April 24, 1928, in Leith, ND, the daughter of Carl William and Hazel Lillian Wahl Arndt. She was baptized on May 20, 1928, and confirmed on April 18, 1943, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Leith, ND. Adeline graduated from Leith High School in 1946. She married Carl E. Zeller on June 23, 1946, and they made their home on his family's farm at Leith where they farmed with Carl's parents. In December 1953 the family moved to Bismarck where Carl was employed by Meyer Broadcasting Co. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church from 1954 – 1967 where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Mother's Circle. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church from 1968 until present where she taught Sunday School, was circle chairman and a member of various committees. Adeline especially enjoyed being a homemaker and raising the couple's six sons. She later volunteered for the auxiliaries of Medcenter One Helping Hands and the Heartview Foundation. Adeline enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, knitting, canning, golfing in her retired years, camping with family, spending 17 winters in Mesa, AZ. Later in life while she resided at Valley View, Adeline enjoyed playing cards with her many friends and helping to organize events. Adeline is survived by her sons, Newell Linda Zeller, Hazen, Randy Carla Zeller, Bismarck, Alan Zeller, Bismarck, Ryan Deborah Eggebrecht Zeller, Bismarck, Bob Beth Zeller, Mandan, Daryl Diane Zeller, Bismarck; brother, Carl C. Shirley Arndt; her grandchildren, Kristi Rodney Jaeger, Bill Zeller, Suzy Jason Klein, Michael Sarah Zeller, Michael Jennifer Eggebrecht, Allison Kurt Winkler, Chris Alisha Zeller, Wade Melanie Zeller, Wyatt Zeller; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Hunter Oberlander, MadeLynn and Noah Jaeger, Dylan Skye Klein, Logan, Shelby and Layla Ann Zeller, Blayke Winkler and Mason Eggebrecht. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Zeller; her parents, Carl W. and Hazel Arndt; her brother, Lloyd Arndt, sister and brother-in-law, Arlene and Anthony "Tony" Kuntz; and grandson, Dustin Eggebrecht.
