Bob Reinke

Robert "Bob" Reinke, 41, Mandan, died September 9, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Friday, September 16, at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, 801 1st Street SE Mandan, with Rev. Chad Gion officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery, Flasher, Friday, at 2:00 pm central time. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, September 15, at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck, where a rosary/vigil will be held at 7:00 pm. Bob was born August 25, 1970, in Bismarck, ND, the son of F. Howard and Marion Gartner Reinke. He graduated from Flasher High School in May 1989 and the ND State College of Science in Wahpeton. He married Jennifer Susag on August 18, 2000. Bob was currently working for Industrial Contractors Inc. as a general foreman at Minnkota Power Co, Inc. He was a proud member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 300. Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons, Hunter and Hudson, and his buddies, alongside his hunting dogs. He also enjoyed boating, golfing, watching all sports, especially the Pittsburg Steelers and New York Yankees, cooking Knoefla soup and ribs, and making sausage. Bob loved the times spent relaxing at the cabin on Lake Tschida with his family. He loved to tell stories and jokes, and also liked dancing, gardening, and canning. He especially loved listening to Hunter sing and watching Hudson dance. He was beloved by all who met him. Bob is survived by his wife, Jennifer and their sons, Hunter and Hudson, Mandan; his brother, Alan Jeanne Reinke, Corvallis, OR; his sisters, Barbara Kraft special friend, Jerry Woodbury, Carson, ND, Camilla Stephen Gross, Bismarck, Tracy Brad Offutt, Rochester, MN, Naomi Dean Bohner, Lake Park, MN, and Mary Dave Mattern, Lawrence, KS; brother-in-law, Kerry Tammie Susag, Harvey, ND; his special friends, Wes Karen Schmidt; nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Nicole and Scott Reinke, Alanna Chris Solberg, Matt Vicki Gross and their girls, Laiken and Aurora, Amanda Gross her fiance, James Hillis, Sarah and Alyssa Offutt, Katie and Megan Bohner, Stephanie, Mark and Alexis Mattern, Kasey, Kylie and Krystal Susag, Max, Sam and Tess Johnson; mother-in-law, Dianne Susag special friend, Allen Zuther, Anamoose, ND; and father-in-law, Mack Pat Susag, Harvey, ND. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sydney Rose; his parents; sister-in-law, Kim Johnson and brother-in-law, Dick Kraft.
