Dustin Kessel

Dustin Kessel, 21, Bismarck, died July 20, 2008, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Services will be held at 3:00 pm Friday at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck with Rev. Darrel Aleson officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm Wednesday and from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm Thursday at Parkway Funeral Service. Visitation will continue from 9:00 am until the time of service Friday. Dustin was born in Phoenix, AZ, on July 29, 1986. At the age of two, Dustin and his family moved back to the Bismarck/Mandan area where he lived and completed his schooling, graduating in 2005. He had great love and respect for his parents, family, friends and the relationships around him. Dustin didn’t really have any dislikes, and never regretted any life decisions. He was enthusiastic about helping others, and accepted people for who they were. He loved and respected muscle cars, especially his Mustang or Stang, as he would say. He cared deeply for his pets. He also had a great love for fun/friendly arguments with others. In his spare time he would watch Dallas Cowboys football, play pool and poker Dustin could never pass up a good game of 31 and hunt with his dad and his brothers or go to the gun range with his close friends. Dustin also had a real passion for his body art. He was employed with the Labors Union Local #563 and DiDonna’s Restaurant at the time of his death. He will always be loved and forever missed. Dustin is survived by his parents, Jerry & Gina Kessel, Becky Lipp Robinson and her fiancé, Donovan Newcomb all of Mandan, ND; his three brothers, Joseph and Mitchell of Bismarck, ND and Preston Robinson of Troy, KS; his sister, Elizabeth of Bismarck, ND; his fiancé, Tricia Lippert of Bismarck, ND; his grandparents, Eileen Kessel of Mandan, ND, Jim Lipp of Mandan, ND and Sandy and Darrell Reiter of Glendive, MT; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jim Kessel; great-grandparents, Roy and Gladys Baker, Paul and Barbara Kessel, Don and Nadyne Stone and Stephen and Eva Lipp and uncles, Howard Sykes and Mike Lipp.
