Mary Beth Schuchard

Mary Beth Schuchard, 38, Bismarck, died December 13, 2006, at a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 12:00 noon Monday at Church of St. Mary, 806 E Broadway Ave, Bismarck with Rev. Bruce Krebs officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck where a vigil will be held at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Mary Beth was born on July 15, 1968, in Carrington, ND, the daughter of Robert and Marlene Bauer Theis. She grew up and attended school in Carrington, graduating from Carrington High School in 1986. She attended Interstate Business College in Fargo for two years. Her first son, Jesse, was born on November 6, 1988, and second son, Colton, was born on July 4, 1992. Mary Beth worked at Arrowwood and Chase Lake National Wildlife Refugees for a number of years. For the past ten years she has been living in Bismarck with her sons, Jesse and Colton. Mary Beth was currently employed with Burleigh County Highway Department. She had several passions in her life, first and foremost were her sons and she especially enjoyed watching their sporting events. Mary Beth also enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, playing darts, listening to music, and spending time at the river. She loved getting together with family and friends, of which she had many. Mary Beth was an organ donor, and her passing made it possible for others to live. She will be missed. Mary Beth is survived by her sons, Jesse and Colton of Bismarck, ND; her parents, Robert Theis of Carrington, ND, and Marlene Jerry Schack of Bismarck, ND; her sisters, Jeanne Royd Unruh of Sykeston, ND, Suzy Stacy Fitterer, and Sara Tim Berger, all of Bismarck, ND; her brother, R.J. "Tubber" Karla of Minot, ND; her grandmother, Pat Theis of Carrington, ND; her nieces and nephews, Jaydee and Jackson Unruh, Morgan and Jacob Theis, Nicholas, Abygail, and Madysen Fitterer, and Brooke Berger; her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and her special friend, Russell Kunz of Bismarck, ND.
