Sharon Korman

Sharon Anne Korman, 63, Bismarck, formerly of Bottineau, entered heaven on July 23, 2007, after fighting a courageous battle against cancer for four and a half years. Sherry passed peacefully with her loving family and devoted husband by her side. Private family services will be held on Thursday, July 26. Sherry was born in Oakland, CA, on October 3, 1943. She was raised in Bottineau, ND, and attended school there. She continued to live there until November 2006, when she moved to Bismarck with her husband. Keith and Sherry were united in marriage on August 29, 1960. They spent a lifetime creating a legacy of love that will live on in her memory. Sherry and Keith enjoyed traveling together and spending time with their family. They truly were each others best friend and a perfect role model for a loving marriage. She is remembered as a devoted wife and a phenomenal, loving, supportive mother who taught her children the importance of family and supporting each other. Sherry left footprints on everyone she touched. She was a great friend to all and was someone that was always ready to listen and lend support. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 47 years, Keith Korman; her five children, Kim Warren Granfor of Bismarck, ND, Kerri Todd Muehler of Mitchell, SD, Mike Shari Korman of Grand Forks, ND, Kristi Darin Muehler of Simi Valley, CA, and Nicole Shane Boucher of Grafton, ND; her twelve grandchildren; her sister, Kathy Dwight Chruma of Escondido, CA; and her sister-in-law, Adele Roy Douglas of Bottineau, ND. Don't Grieve For MeDon't grieve for me, for now I'm free;I'm following the path God laid for me.I took his hand when I heard Him call; I turned my back and left it all.I could not stay another day, to laugh,to love, to work, or play.Tasks left undone must stay that way;I found that place at the close of the day.If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy.A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss; Ah yes, these things, I too will miss.Be not burdened with times of sorrow,I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.My life's been full, I savored much;good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.Perhaps my time seems all too brief;don't lengthen it now, with undue grief.Lift up your heart and share with me,God wanted me now, He set me free.
