Alyssa C Little

Alyssa C. Little, 24, Baldwin, passed away on December 4, 2014, after a courageous fight against cancer. Services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 9, at House of Prayer Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with Rev. David Swonger officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Monday, December 8, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a prayer service will begin at 6:00 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Tuesday. Alyssa was born in Amarillo, TX, on October 1, 1990, to Alan and Kristy McCullough Little. She graduated from Wilton High School and received Bachelor of Science degrees in Equitation and Training and Creative Writing from Rocky Mountain College in 2013. Alyssa had a passion for her horses, which she demonstrated by owning and operating a local horse training business. One of the greatest joys in her life was spending time with her two dogs. She enjoyed the outdoors with her family; was an avid hunter and fisherwoman. Alyssa loved to read and had dreams of becoming an author. She had many health challenges throughout her life, but handled them with grace and dignity. Her family loved and will always remember her sarcasm and wit, as well as her fighting spirit. Alyssa is survived by her parents, Alan and Kristy, Baldwin; her brother, Michael Stephanie Little, Bismarck; her grandmother, Carol McCullough, Mandan; grandparents, Art and Jenny Little, Bismarck; uncle, Marshall Mari McCullough and their children, Connor, Finn, and Shane; uncle, Cameron Mary McCullough and their children, Justin Stephanie Berndt and Tom McCullough; aunt, Vicki Mark Goforth and their children, Caleb Salena Vieyra and their son, Logan, Jasper, and Kassie; uncle, Lee Noelle Ferch-Gustafson Little; aunt, Leann Sievers and their children, Kyle and Jesse Little Tyler, Anna, and Gretchen Gustafson; uncle, Charlie Gayle Little and their children, Jake and Kate; and her beloved dogs, Sparky and Marley. Alyssa was preceded in death by her grandfather, William "Bill" McCullough. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Dakota Zoo in Bismarck. Happy trails, Alyssa!
