Arlan Boehm

Arlan Boehm, 69, Bismarck died February 3, 2008. Services will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday at Church of St. Mary with Rev. Gene Lindemann officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 pm Thursday at Turtle Lake Cemtery, Turtle Lake. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm Tuesday and from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm Wednesday at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck where a vigil service will begin at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church. Arlan was born north of Pickardville, ND, on September 1, 1938, one of 12 children, to Steven and Frieda Boschee Boehm. He was raised and educated in Pickardville and McClusky. He graduated from McClusky High School in 1956. After graduation, he moved to Bismarck and went to Capital Commercial College. On June 6, 1961, he was united in marriage to Jerrieann Hofer from Turtle Lake, ND. They made their home in Bismarck. They enjoyed 46 years of marriage. Arlan worked for Oscar H. Wells, Ken's Flower Shop, Truss Masters, Capital City Roof and Truss Co., Gene Weise Construction, Carl Campbell's Floral, Main Street Flower Ship, Old Dutch Mill and Pro Builders. Arlan loved to fish and watch professional football games on T.V. Arlan is survived by his wife, Jerrieann. They had two sons, Scott Arlan Boehm, Gillette, WY, who died in 1996; Chad Michael Boehm Jill Applegren, Antioch, IL; three step-grandchildren, Paul, Royce and Julia Applegren; a grandson, Noah Nathan Boehm. Arlan has 11 brothers and sisters, Frances Francis Mayer, Anamoose, ND, Richard Clem Boehm, Bismarck, ND, Margaret Milton Fridrich, Antioch, IL, Patrick Ardyth Boehm, Boyd, MT, Barbara Andrew Heinle, Bismarck, ND, Dennis Karen Boehm, Antioch, IL, Katherine Richard Wiest, Reno, NV, Carline Kupiszeioski, Sticknay, IL, Jacqueline David Kulackoski, Lincoln, ND, Loretta Boehm, Bismarck, ND and Bernadette Rooker Craig Ozolens, Coon Rapids, MN; many nieces, nephews and very special friend, Norbert Guthmiller. Jerrieann also wishes to thank Betty Teske for the support she gave her during Arlan's illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Frieda Boehm and one son, Scott Arlan Boehm.
