Brittany Lynn Leier

Brittany Lynn Leier, 24, Alexander, ND formerly of Bismarck, ND, died October 6, 2013. Services will be held 11:00 am Friday, October 11, at Church of the Ascension, Bismarck, with Rev. Msgr. James Braaten officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck. Visitation will be held at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck from 4:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, October 10, where a prayer service will begin at 7:00 pm. Brittany Lynn Leier was born on November 19, 1988, in Bismarck, the daughter of Glenn Leier and Shar Kraft Dukart. She attended and graduated Bismarck High School in 2007 and went on to attend The Hair Academy earning a degree in cosmetology. She was a very gifted and talented hairstylist and loved being employed at the Colour Lab Salon in Bismarck for two years then at Monjores Salon in Watford City for the past two years. Brittany was a loving mother, sister, daughter and friend. She was always so creative and generous making gifts for other people, putting others before herself. She had a passion for art, drawing people, animals and writing poems. She loved the outdoors including hunting, ranching, horseback riding, and the annual family hayride. She was an accomplished hunter with many trophy animals. Her beautiful, photogenic smile could brighten up any room. She found her calling as a hairstylist at a young age doing her little cousins hair at family gatherings and in Jr. High she was the one doing her friends older sister's hair for prom. She was an animal lover especially of dogs and cats having many throughout her life. She will be loved and missed by so many, leaving us with many loving memories of her. She is now at peace in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus. "Our most beautiful Angel" will forever be in our hearts. Brittany is survived by her son Gavin Leier, Bismarck; her father Glenn Leier Tina, Bismarck; her mother, Shar Dukart Gene, Bismarck; her brothers, Brian Leier Phoebe, Fargo, Seth Leier and Nathan Leier, Bismarck; her nephew, Holden Leier, Fargo; her grandfathers, John Leier, Bismarck, Ben Kraft Linda, Bismarck; her boyfriend, Bo James, Alexander; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Monica Leier and Jenny Kraft.
