Chris Faller

Christopher Faller, 21, Bismarck died November 5, 2009, in Bismarck. A mass of Christian burial Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at Church of St. Anne in Bismarck with Father Ed Wehner officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Service. Chris was born May 6, 1988, in Bismarck to Joe and Dawn Faller. He was raised and educated in Bismarck where he attended Saxvik Elementary, Simle Junior High, and graduated from Bismarck High School in 2007. While attending BHS he participated in band playing the drums, football, and track where he especially loved running with his teammates on the 4x100 relay. Chris currently was attending the University of Mary majoring in Business, participating in track as an athlete and most recently began student coaching. His passion was to coach. Chris had many jobs but the one he enjoyed the most was working for Pride as a Youth Mentor. He loved working with the children and they enjoyed being with him. Chris enjoyed life to the fullest and always had a smile for you. He was very competitive and loved to compete with his dad, grandpa Wyckoff, and his uncles at golf. His real passion was football. He has and always will be a fan of the Oakland Raiders. Through the ups and downs of the team he is still a fan. Chris enjoyed annoying his Mom by reciting lines from the many movies he watched. Chris is survived by his parents, Joe and Dawn; his little sister, Amy; grandmother, Lu Faller; grandparents, Wayne and Marge Wyckoff; great-grandparent, Anton Heidt; aunts Cindy Craig Helm, Carol Faller and friend Wayne; uncles, Terry and friend Janet, Tom Letty, Gerry Luci, and Travis Elvira Wyckoff; and many cousins, David Sandi Helm, Brian Jen Helm, Tatiana Torres, Nicole and son Phillip, and Katherine Gloria, Roman, Olivia, and John Faller, Alexis and Jessica Faller, Ella and Gwen Wyckoff. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leo R. Faller; his great-grandmother, Ann Heidt; and our dog, Meeko. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Pride, Inc. or charity of choice.
