Corajean Mount

Corajean Shea Mount, 83, Bismarck, ND, died June 23, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 26, at Church of Corpus Christi, Bismarck, with Rev. Msgr. James Shea and Rev. Robert Shea officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:30 pm at Eastgate Funeral Service where a vigil service will begin at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church. Corajean was born January 11, 1930, in Hazelton, ND, to Bill and Clara Casey Shea. She was raised in Hazelton and moved to Bismarck, where she graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1948. Corajean married Ray Mount on August 23, 1948. She raised two daughters and worked as a cook in the Bismarck Public Schools before becoming a secretary at Simle Junior High. She retired after 32 years. Corajean enjoyed reading, playing cards, attending her grandchildren's many activities, traveling, and dancing. She was an active member of the Sons of Norway, Burleigh Pioneers, Happy Homemakers Club, Eagerettes 59 years and danced with Belles and Beaux. Corajean and Ray were happily married for 50 years. Her loving family includes, two daughters, Judy and Dave Osterberg, Kimberling City, MO, and Jan and Dave Jundt, Bismarck, ND; her five grandchildren, Brad and Allison Osterberg, Oklahoma City, OK, and their children, Marie and great-great grandchild due in Dec, Wade and Holly; Tammi and Michael Edmonson, Benton, AR, and their children, Jaden and Carson; Tressa and David McMahon, West Fargo, ND, and their daughters, Jillian and Megan; Kelli and Marcus Hammerseng, Crystal, MN, and their children, Emily and Ethan; Amy and Andy Dahlquist, Eagan, MN; her sister, Denise Dasher, Senoia, GA; sister-in-law, Audrey Shea, Grand Forks, ND; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Floyd and Cathie Mount, Bismarck; and her special friend, Howard Cotton, Bismarck. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; her parents; brother, Richard Shea; sister, Agnes Scheidt; brother-in-law, Dick Dasher; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Johnny and Marj Hildenbrand.
