Delton Doll

Delton D. Doll, 56, Mandan, died June 3, 2006, at a Bismarck hospital. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bismarck with Rev. Nate Keith officiating. Burial will be at the ND Veteran's Cemetery in Mandan. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 - 9:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM at Eastgate Funeral Service in Bismarck. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Delton was born on January 4, 1950, in Mandan, North Dakota, the son of Nick A. and Clara A. Binder Doll. He was raised and attended schools in Mandan, graduating from Mandan High School in 1968. He then attended Bismarck State College for two years where he studied mechanical engineering. During this time, he worked at Mandan Plumbing and Heating from 1968 - 1973. Delton enlisted with the United States Air Force from 1973 - 1975 where he was stationed at various bases as a weapons specialist. On November 5, 1982, he married Vicki Seeberg in Bismarck. From 1975 - 1988, Delton was a plumbing pipe fitter with Local Union 795 currently called Local 300 and worked for various companies including, Sorenson Company in Bismarck, Industrial Contractors in Bismarck, Egan & Sons, Inc. in Beulah, Catalytic, Inc. in Beulah, and Industrial Contractors in Bismarck. In 1988, he was employed with Medcenter One as a master plumber and plant operator. Presently, he worked for the North Dakota Insurance Department as a state boiler inspector. Delton was a very devoted husband and father, and was his sons' best friend. He will be dearly missed by many. He is survived by his wife, Vicki Doll of Mandan; his sons, Nathan and Alex "AJ" at home; his sister-in-law, Lois Doll of Mandan; his mother-in-law, Edna Seeberg of Bismarck; his brothers-in-law, Ed Mary Seeberg, Arlen Paula Seeberg, Hal Shelley Seeberg, all of Bismarck, and Jay Elsie Seeberg of Lincoln; his nephews and nieces, James Cindy Doll, Robert Paulette Doll, and Nancy Cordell Eckroth; and many other special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Clara Doll; his brother, George L. Doll; and his father-in-law, John A. Seeberg.
