Kathryn Creed

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints." Psalm 116:15. Our Church Mother, Kathryn Creed went home to be with Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday May 16, 2009. We all rejoice and celebrate her life and ministry. There will be a Memorial/Celebration Service on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Shiloh Christian School, 1915 Shiloh Drive, Bismarck. Mother Kathryn was born in Yonkers, New York on January 29, 1936, to her parents, Lewis C. and Anne Levy Steinmetz. She and her late husband, Julian Creed, served in the mission fields for over 40 years. They served in Japan, Korea, Philippians, the Bahamas, Canada, and all over the United States. Their ministry served and touched many people in Winnipeg, Canada for over 10 years. In 2002 they moved to the Bismarck/Mandan area to continue their Ministry. Again they touched and witnessed to so many people. Their love of the Lord was always present and the sharing of the gospel was their mission. Julian went home to be with the lord on August 12, 2005. Kathyrn commented on the loss of her precious Julian, "it is a time to celebrate his life, let us not mourn but rejoice."Their ministry continued through Kathryn and in 2008 she started Lily of the Valley Ministry. She was blessed with her first home which she opened to everyone. Through her telephone and her new internet exposure she was able to conduct her worldwide ministry. Mother Kathryn prayed daily for all ministries throughout the world and was preparing to expand her network with CrossRoads COGIC in India, Africa, and Pakistan. Those of us who knew Kathryn were always amazed by her ability to quote scripture on memory and apply it to any situation that was presented to her. Her willingness to help anyone and seek the lord for the answer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week will be greatly missed. But she has equipped all the people she touched to carry on her ministry and continue to connect with each other. She has also left behind a series of CDs with her prophetic message which will be available to all that request it. Our beloved Mother Kathryn was an anchor at the CrossRoads COGIC and she will be deeply missed but loved forever. God Bless you mighty warrior of God!" When the Child of God looks into the word of God and sees the Son of God, He is changed by the spirit of God, into the Image of God for the Glory of God."
