Myrtle Schroeder

Myrtle Schroeder, 90, Baldwin, died February 12, 2008 at Garrison Memorial Hospital. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Bismarck with Rev. Thomas Marcis Jr. and Rev. Douglas Berglin officiating. Burial will be in Baldwin Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm Thursday and from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm Friday at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck where a prayer service will begin at 7:00 pm Friday. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church. Myrtle was born June 14, 1917, at Millerton, ND, the daughter of Emil and Stella Schmidt Redmann. She was raised and educated in the Millerton area. Myrtle married Fred Schroeder on November 22, 1939 in Bismarck. They made their home in Baldwin. Myrtle and Fred farmed in Baldwin throughout their entire lives. Myrtle entered the Garrison Care Center on November 13, 2007 and stayed there until her death. Myrtle enjoyed gardening, yard work, and keeping busy with all the tasks of a homemaker on a farm. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends at Gateway. She is survived by her five sons, Marlin Marilyn and their children, Shelly Lonnie Rogness and their children, Jon, Jenny and Jacob, Malissa Schroeder and Mike Rochelle Schroeder and their children, Alex and Marissa; Marvin Pat and their children, Kristi Fettig fiancee, Kent Meier and her children, Levi and Colton, and Kelli Schroeder; Dennis Marla and their children, Dennis Mathilda Schroeder and their children, Michael Vanessa, Vanessa, Mario and Dennis III, Jim Lisa Schroeder and their children, Cody and Casey, Glen YounHee Schroeder and their children, Gabriel and Ariel, and Ashlee Schroeder; Kevin Charmaine and their children, Scott, Jon and Kim Schroeder; and Roger Sharon and their children, Todd Michelle Schroeder and their children, Chase, Chantal and Ashton, Cammy Pete Jensen and their children, Griffin and Oliver, Tom Tania Schroeder and their child, Aspen and one on the way and Holly Jason Johnson and their children, Jack and Ava; her daughter, Debbie Dave Bergquist and their children, Travis Shauna and their children, Emily and Ella and Jason LeAnn and their child on the way; her brother, Gene Redmann and her sister, Louella Aller. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her daughter, Sandra; brothers, Ed, Lyle, twin infant brothers, Raymond and Rayfield and three sisters, May, Esther and Elnora.
