Renee Schneider

Renee Marie Schneider 52, Bismarck, ND, passed away on October 29, 2012, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. Renee took her last breath and went to heaven to rest peacefully after a ten year valiant battle with a rare form of cancer. At the time of her passing she was comfortable and surrounded by her family, holding her hands. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, November 2, at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, Bismarck, with Rev. Thomas Richter officiating. Burial will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Steele. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm Thursday, November 1, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a rosary/vigil will begin at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Renee was born in Inglewood, California, on September 14, 1960, to Delores and George Lipp. After her dad's service in the Navy, when Renee was two, she and the family moved to Kintyre, ND. She attended school in Napoleon, ND, until the third grade and then graduated from Steele High School in Steele, ND. In 1978, Renee married Paul Schneider in Steele and in the following years gave birth to her children Christopher, Nicole and Kyle. The family moved to Bismarck, ND, in 1983 where Paul and Renee have resided since. Renee worked as a recovery analyst with Aetna. Renee was a selfless person who always put others first. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was very involved in her children's lives and was always their biggest supporter. Renee enjoyed shopping, traveling, visiting with friends and spending time with her children and family. She loved going on long walks with her companion Marley, a Jack Russell. And she was always cooking, baking, crafting and sewing with the family. Renee was a soft spoken, kind hearted, loving soul and she will be greatly missed. Renee taught us how to remain strong and enjoy life during even the most difficult of times. She is survived by her husband Paul; her children, Christopher friend Dana Majewski, Nicole Borkovskiy Andrey and Kyle; sister, Melissa Hellman Russ; brothers, Keith Lipp Sharon and Berent Thompson Nancy; her mother Delores Thompson and step-father Harold; her mother-in-law, Lois Schneider; and sisters-in-law, Candace Ulmer John and Carol Ries Mike. She was preceded in death by her father, George Lipp; grandmother, Barbara Lipp and grandfather, William Lipp, grandmother, Mary Kambeitz and grandfather, Andrew Kambeitz; and her father-in-law, Ray Schneider.
