Lois Wahl

Lois Wahl, 90, Bismarck, ND, went to be with her Lord Jesus on October 4, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Church of the Nazarene, Tuttle, ND with Rev. Garner Pozgay officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at the Tuttle cemetery, Tuttle, ND. Lois was born on July 10, 1916, in Paynesville, MN, the daughter of John and Chastity Nelson Kramer. In 1927, the Kramer family moved from Frazee, MN, to Tuttle, ND. Lois married Harold Wahl on March 6, 1937. They settled and farmed in Tuttle, where they raised their three children. Lois and Harold were married for 59 years. Lois and Harold also operated the town cafe in Tuttle for several years. Lois loved her God, family, and church, in that order. Her family was so important to her; she prayed for them twice per day everyday. Her grandchildren adored her and her in-law children loved her as their own, as she did them. Lois attended the Tuttle Church of the Nazarene from the time she was a teenager until she moved to Bismarck; she was always actively involved and faithfully there with her family. She and Harold enjoyed singing together in church and for many community activities. She was kind, loving and uncomplaining. We are so proud of her. Lois is survived by her two daughters, Vonda Lee Arnold Glaser of Bismarck, ND, and Arlet Dallas Leno of Wing, ND; her daughter-in-law, Judi Wahl of Tuttle, ND; her eight grandchildren, Debra Don Giesler, David Sheila Glaser, Pam Jim Plummer, Shannon Carmen Wahl, Shad Tammy Wahl, Denise Wahl and her special friend Brad Kesselring, Dustin Holly Leno and Elizabeth David Buck; her fifteen great-grandchildren, Ryan Megan Geisler, Jody Mike Finstad, Brittany, Alexis, Quintessa and Destiny Glaser, Cole, Cody, Chance and Channa Wahl, Kalene and Wyatt Wahl, Brandon and Taylor Leno and Issac Buck; her four great-great grandchildren, Rhiannon and Noah Finstad and Juel and Owen Giesler; her sister, Carrie Nevland of Valley City, ND; her two sister-in-laws and one brother-in-law, Ruth Wahl of Fessenden, ND, and Kenneth and Leoma Brenden of Steele, ND; and many nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her son, Dennis; her grandson, Shel; her parents; and her brother, Russell. Lois began a personal relationship with Jesus Christ when she was fifteen-years-old. She loved and served her Savior faithfully until he came to take her home. She was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and godly woman. She will be missed, but her prayers live on. "Her children arise and call her blessed." Proverbs 31: 28a.
